FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS  Q. Where do we check in?  A. Someone will be meeting you in the parking lot of your reserved beach house unit at check in to settle up  final payment and give you your keys. Instructions to coordinate are included in your rental agreement. Q. What time is check-in and check-out? A. Check-in time is any time after 4:00 PM on your day of arrival and check-out time is any time before 11:00  AM on the day of departure. A late fee may be applied for check outs after 11:00 AM. Q. Do you require a deposit? A. Yes. We require a portion down as deposit when making a reservation with the balance due prior to your  arrival date. The booking system will show you those amounts and dates specifically prior to asking your  credit card information. Q. What form of payment is required for deposits? A. We accept cash, MASTER CARD, VISA, personal checks, traveler's checks and money orders. Payments by  check need to be received by us 3 weeks prior to your arrival.  Q. How are the units equipped - what should I bring? A. Now with wireless internet, all units have fully furnished kitchens, full size refrigerator, stove, microwave,  coffee maker, dishes, cooking utensils, pots & pans. Bath towels and linens are also provided. You should  bring beach towels, sun tan lotion, groceries, toiletries, dish & laundry soap, and garbage bags. Q. When is trash pick-up? A. Trash pick-up is every Monday and Thursday morning. Q. If I cancel do I get my advance deposit refunded? A. Because of the seasonal nature of vacation rentals, the cancellation policy differs accordingly. If your stay is between April 15-November 30: Cancellations will be accepted up to 46 days before your stay. If you cancel your reservation, your deposit  will be returned to you, less an office charge of 10% of the total rental amount. Cancellations will not be  accepted within 45 days of your reserved dates. Final payment is due and payable. This includes, but is not  limited to hurricane evacuation. No refunds will be made for early departures. If your stay is between December 1 - April 14: Cancellations will be accepted up to 61 days before your stay. If you cancel your reservation, your deposit  will be returned to you, less an office charge of 10% of the total rental amount. Cancellations will not be  accepted within 60 days of your reserved dates. Final payment is due and payable. This includes, but is not  limited to hurricane evacuation. No refunds will be made for early departures.  Cancellation Insurance/Travel Insurance:  We highly recommend getting TRAVEL Insurance for your trip. It is up to the tennant to purchase this  coverage for their trip. Coverage is available for health and weather related problems. Please call them  direct or order online to purchase this in your name. This will be your sole remedy in the event of unforeseen  circumstances.  Q. Can anyone rent a beach house from you? A. Yes, with minimum age of 18 (must be at least 25 years of age to rent on Jupiter St.). Management  reserves the right to refuse service to anyone. (spring breakers - spring break policies click here)  Q. How many people can stay in a unit? A. The one bedroom rental will accommodate up to 6 people, with no more than 4 adults. The two bedroom  units on Corral and Capricorn will sleep up to 8 people, no more than six adults. On Jupiter the maximum per unit is 10, total with no more than 8 adults. Units can be rented together when available to accommodate larger groups. The Capricorn and Corral 2 bedroom units have doors which can be unlocked on each side to turn Capricorn into a 4 bedroom 4 bathroom beach house and Corral into a 4 bedroom and 2 bathroom Beach  house. Q. Can I reserve a particular beach house? A. We will do everything possible to see that your request is granted; if, however, that unit should become  unavailable due to circumstances beyond our control, we reserve the right to relocate your reservation to a  comparable accommodation. We will, of course, make every effort to notify you of the change in advance. Q. What do I do if there is a problem with my beach house unit? A. In the unlikely event that an appliance fails, it will be repaired as quickly as possible. Please report any  problems at once so that they may be corrected.  Q. Is there free parking? A. All of the properties that we represent provide adequate off-road free parking for two vehicles for each  unit. Please review Terms and Conditions for each property upon booking.  Q. Can I bring my well mannered, friendly pet? A. Yes, we believe well mannered and cared for, friendly pets need vacations too! All of our units are pet- friendly. :) You must pick up after your pets which is required and enforced by city code enforcement and is  subject to a fine.  SOME MORE THINGS YOU SHOULD KNOW Please review "Terms and Conditions" for the property upon booking. Renter will pay for any damages to the beach house or missing items, which are a result of their actions or  the actions of one of their guests. A security deposit may be required for any stay. Security deposits are returned to you within 4 weeks after  your departure.  Management reserves the right to refuse service to anyone, and will not be responsible for accidents or injury  of guests or for the loss of money, jewelry or valuables of any kind. Beach House Vacation Rentals, SPI, Inc., management and employees are not responsible for damage to  guests, valuables or automobiles. Illegal substances and firearms are not allowed on the property. A cleaning fee of up to $65 will be charged for all stays. (This amount varies according to square footage of  unit). Minimum night stays vary with each property, and different rental dates. No refunds will be issued for early departures.
